I am a Healing Touch Certified Practitioner and Instructor (HTCP/I), as well as a Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) who works with all individuals to support wellness and promote a sense of holistic wellbeing - body, mind, spirit and emotions.  With Healing Touch therapy, one can experience the restoration of harmony and balance in their human energy system.  I learned about this modality and our human energy system back in the late 1990s and have found that practicing and teaching the techniques to others is one of the most fulfilling opportunities in my life’s journey.  While working at IBM as a systems and procedures analyst, I asked the Divine to lead me to my purpose.  It took less than a year for Healing Touch to be revealed to me.  I then began my educational journey in Healing Touch therapy and energy medicine.

It seemed the Universe expected me to move much faster with my spiritual directive than I had been, so in the early 2000s IBM laid me off.  That’s when I pursued my Associate in Applied Science degree from Central Piedmont Community College and became a RHIT.  This education has allowed me to efficiently and safely manage, maintain, and distribute health information.  I then went on to complete my education and national certification as an instructor and practitioner in Healing Touch with the Healing Touch Program.  These accomplishments have allowed me to assist others in their healing process and teach them about the anatomy and physiology of our energy body.

Most of us are unaware that we have this beautiful and phenomenal energy body that supports our physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health.  I am grateful that the Divine has entrusted me with these gifts to share with others.

In addition to my private practice at the Counseling Center at Charlotte (CCC), I also provide Healing Touch therapy to oncology patients at Levine Cancer Institute.  I teach Healing Touch classes at Cabarrus College of Health Sciences in Concord and at the Area Health Education Center (AHEC) in Charlotte.  My mission is to provide compassionate, heart-centered holistic healthcare services and education that will support the health and wellness of individuals in our communities.
