Tommy Tomlinson

Tommy Tomlinson is the author of DOGLAND, Passion, Glory, and Lots of Slobber at the Westminster Dog Show. He hosts the SouthBound podcast and writes the Writing Shed newsletter. His work has appeared in Esquire, ESPN the Magazine, Sports Illustrated, Forbes, and others. Previously, he was a reporter and columnist for the Charlotte Observer. Tommy and his wife, Alix Felsing, live in Charlotte, NC, with Alix’s mom and a cat.

The Counseling Center at Charlotte offers counseling to residents of Mecklenburg and the surrounding counties through partnerships with covenanting church congregations and other community support. This ongoing vital support enables the center to provide financial assistance to those in need, ensuring that our services are accessible to all, regardless of their economic circumstances.
